Boston’s MassHire Career Centers, also known as American Job Centers, serve as an entry point into the public workforce system for both job seekers and employers. Boston has two career centers – MassHire Boston Career Center (at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries) and MassHire Downtown Boston Career Center (at JVS). Job seekers can make an appointment or stop by to access service either in person or virtually at both locations.
Career centers provide a variety of no-cost services to job seekers and employers. Career center staff provide assistance and support for individuals seeking a job and a career path. Career centers also help businesses connect with qualified and skilled individuals. The career centers host job fairs, on-site recruitment, and targeted outreach activities for job seekers and employers.
