Support the PIC

Hire students

An excellent way to become more deeply involved with the PIC is to hire BPS high school students for summer internships as part of the private sector component of the Mayor’s Summer Jobs program. Employers who hire students receive comprehensive support from PIC staff throughout the process—from interviewing students to regular check-ins throughout the summer to post-internship evaluation. Learn more about hiring high school students through the PIC. For more information, contact Josh Bruno, Employer Engagement Director.

Become a corporate partner

For companies looking to make unrestricted contributions to the PIC, we manage a Corporate Partnership Campaign. Corporate partners help us build a pipeline of talent for the future, advance racial equity, and support an engaged corporate sector, while connecting thousands of Boston residents to educational and employment opportunities each year.

Contact Bodi Luse, Director of Development and Communications, to learn more.

Provide a grant

The PIC is a high-impact organization with a long history of successfully managing both public and private grant funding. While many of our core activities are supported by federal, state and local government funding, over 50% of our revenue is generated through private corporate and foundation grants. For more information about grants, contact Bodi Luse, Director of Development and Communications.

Donate

The PIC welcomes individual donations to support our work. A gift to the PIC can help us connect a BPS student to paid work experience, reconnect a high school dropout to educational programming, or jumpstart the career of an under- or unemployed adult. Since over 90% of the PIC’s funding is dedicated to covering programmatic costs, you can be confident that your gift is making a difference. Make a gift today.
