Supporting Priority Industries through Convenings
The Greater Boston Workforce Planning Blueprint identifies two industries as most important to the region’s economic success:
- Healthcare and Social Assistance
- Professional and Technical Services, specifically the technology sector
To assist employers in developing local employee pipelines into these priority industries, the PIC convenes employers, government officials, educators, and community leaders.
Boston Healthcare Careers Consortium
The Boston HCC convenes employers, educators, labor, and workforce system partners to promote healthcare related education and training opportunities for job seekers and current employees that are efficient, effective, and align with industry needs.
TechHire Boston
TechHire Boston is a convening of organizations, resources, events, and ideas committed to building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive technology workforce in the Boston area.
