Summer Jobs & Internships

Every summer, in partnership with the City of Boston and the Boston Public Schools, the PIC organizes employers to participate in the Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program.

Boston high school students are hired each summer to work in employer-paid jobs or internships at more than 200 private sector companies and institutions in Boston’s top industries including health care, financial services, life sciences, technology, architecture and law.

Community-Based and School Year Jobs

Each summer, PIC Career Specialists place hundreds of students in community-based jobs with wages sponsored by foundations and the public sector. During the school year, Career Specialists connect students with jobs and internships at both private sector companies and nonprofit organizations.
