JPMorgan Chase Makes $350 Million Global Workforce Commitment
The PIC is excited to share that JPMorgan Chase announced the next chapter of New Skills at Work, with a $350 million, five-year global investment focused on building the workforce of the future. As part of the investment, the PIC will receive funds to support its Tech Apprentice program.
This investment is the largest private sector workforce commitment to date and will equip people in communities around the world with the skills needed to compete for well-paying, in-demand jobs. Building on the firm’s original $250 million investment in 2013, which has helped nearly 150,000 individuals gain the skills they need to compete for good jobs, New Skills at Work focuses on creating economic mobility and career pathways for underserved populations, and, for the first time, will help forecast emerging skill sets for our own employees.
