Boston PIC Summer 2022 Internship Program

In 2022, as part of City of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s Summer Jobs Program, the PIC and the Boston Public Schools joined forces to place hundreds of high school students in private sector businesses and institutions.

After two summers of virtual internships, students were overjoyed to return to the workplace, either full-time or hybrid. Not surprisingly, employers and workplace supervisors welcomed the energy and creativity that students brought to the in-person experience.
